Denver woman wants breasts to match her body*

Procedure Details

Breast augmentation silicone

This wonderful 30's something Colorado police officer wanted to improve how she looked.  She felt there was a mismatch between her top and bottom halves.  She wanted to have an easier time finding clothes that fit her well.  She elected to have Dr. Manish Shah, a Denver area plastic surgeon, perform breast augmentation surgery on her.  Because of the nature of her job, it was felt that the safest option for her would be a subglandular breast implant placement.  This means that the implants were placed above the pectoralis muscles right beneath the breast tissue itself.  If she had any heavy lifting to do or police training, the implants would not move when her muscles did.  This meant she could tackle a criminal without fear of displacing her implants from sudden strong muscle motion.  This is something Dr. Shah likes to discuss with all breast implant patients, as exercise and work related muscle usage could negatively effect the position of breast implants over the long-term.  This could increase the chance of needing revision breast surgery.
